“Pamper Yourself Night” at Mockingbird Station Tonight

As part of the Station’s Cause for Celebration line-up (”community-oriented events every Wednesday evening during the holidays”), Pamper Yourself Night will feature mini-facials, massages, and hand massages, free with a donation to Genesis Women’s Shelter. The masseurs will be lined up near PURE Dental. (If you choose to pay for a teeth whitening special during the evening, PURE will also donate a portion of the proceeds to Genesis.) Billy Jealousy reps will also be at PURE for the mini-facials. The hand massagers will be located at Michael Raymond Salon, where you can also get make-up touch-ups, some hot chocolate or tea, and a free Aveda shampoo sample with a $5 donation. It’s a night full of minis, but your donation can be mini, too.

Meet Designer Rozae Nichols at Thursday’s Fashion Dish Luncheon

Don’t worry about the bikinis part. You don’t have to wear one. Of course, if you’re like me, now that summer’s over and you’ve started eating crappy food again, you don’t even really want to look at one, either. But that’s okay, because again, if you’re like me, you’ll do it for a Bellini and some brunch with Abi Ferrin. She’s bringing her spring 2010 swimwear collection, hot of the catwalk, to the W for a ladies’ brunch on the Wet Deck and after-meal swimsuit perusal. Part of the proceeds will go to Fashion with Freedom and Purpose, a personal organization of Abi’s, which supports the rescue of women from the sex trade in Nepal and Cambodia. As always, we never miss an event where there’s fashion and drinking. But The Plaza at Preston Center one-ups our fav hobby this year with hors d’oeuvres.
