  2. Oh Laura, how I love thee. I got 3 emails today from friends (scattered across the country) with whom I’ve been sharing your recaps asking if you had posted the latest one yet. Being a good gay, I watched the episode in full last night and hated myself for it as well. My girlfriends are much smarter waiting for your recaps instead of wondering “can I have the last 2 hours of my life back?” like I did. Oh…even if he’s a bad kisser with a questionable hat, I still heart Kiptyn the most.

  3. OMG — I’ve never watched a full episode of ANY Bachelor/Bachelorette on any season, but your recap still made me laugh.

  4. I can’t watch the Bachlorette this year. I can’t look at her nose. It bugs me. Really, really bugs me. I have never disliked a nose so much in my life! You’re recaps are hilarious. Thank you!

  5. I would have stopped watching the Bachelorette four episodes ago if it weren’t for your recaps – absolutely hilarious. Made the cry this time. Fantastic.

My picks for the final three are Reid (a sleeper – please GOD don’t let it be him with ED – I’m pullin’ for you, Reid!), Robby, and Kiptyn, with Reid and Robby in the final.

  6. Great recap. My observations / opinions:

Break dancing guy (I’m terribly at remembering their names) – Mugs at the camera too much. I can’t stand watching his facial reactions.

Dallas Tanner – looks nervous all the time.

Jillian – Ditto on the “her nose bugs me” comment. And she was definitely tipsy on the group date. Of course, if I was with those guys I’d have a few drinks also.

Any what is with these guys acting like it is a terrible betrayal that someone told Jillian that some of the guys have girlfriends? They act like the guys should be loyal to each other versus to Jillian.

I vowed after last season’s fiasco I wouldn’t watch anymore. However, it is such a train wreck I can’t help it.

  7. With the whole Ed thing, was it not awkward when he was telling her he was leaving, and he got the rose and said, “I know you wanted this back, but I’m going to keep it.” And she says, “OK, what does that mean?” And he says, “I just don’t think anyone else should have it.”
Um. Isn’t that the point of the show? If you do not accept a rose, or do not get a rose, said rose goes to someone else? You can’t just run away holding it captive singing, “Ah ha! I got the rose!”
I just can’t stand this show. Yet. I watch it every week. Why?

  8. That was the best recap I’ve read. LOVE it. I’m a fan – you must continue these weekly updates and take one for the team – as painful as it it to watch the sub-par show.
