V Spa Aims To Make Moms Happy

momtattooWhen I was little, maybe 6 years old, I gave my mom a Timex watch for Mother’s Day. It probably cost in the neighborhood of $5, and I bought it at Wal-Mart. I was very proud of that timepiece, even though it was hideous. My mom wore the watch every day—not because she loved it so but because she thought it might die a faster death that way. Well, joke was on her. That Timex took a licking and kept on ticking…and ticking and ticking. So, because of me, Mom sported an ugly piece of metal on her wrist for many years. Moral of the story: don’t make the woman who gave you life suffer this Mother’s Day. Send her to V Spa, where the spa’s special Mother’s Day packages will have her feeling like a queen. Jump for all the yummy details.

Just to let you know how hideous, it was digital with a velvet band.

I love your childhood story! It reminded me of my annual Mother’s Day gift to my mom: SOCKS! My mom always liked to wear socks around the house, so we would buy her new socks every year for Mother’s Day. But, they were a hideous lime green, bright yellow with racer stripes, or red and white polka dots. Of course, I thought they were cool at such a young age.

Looking back on it, my dad must have been humorously evil for letting me buy those crazy socks for mom. No wonder it was always one of the few times he would smile at the cash register.

Ha! A velvet band? Geez. It’s worse than I remember. Who else has a terrible Mother’s Day gift story? This could be funny.

    Velvet band?! Hahahahahahaa
