I’m Just That Devoted (And Anal Retentive)
So today during one of our short breaks between interviewing the semi-finalists for D Beauty’s 10 Most Beautiful Women in Dallas, I happened to pull out all the lipsticks and glosses that I carry in my purse. Our art director, Jamie thought it was so funny that she took a picture of them. Now, I must say that I do it all in the interest of science. I have to see how they look in different lighting situations (and with different outfits) so they must be available to me at all times. Anyway, I am writing this as proof of how utterly devoted I am to our readers by providing reliable, scientific reports on all things beauty-related. My shoulder hurts from the weight of my purse for YOU, ShopTalkers!

I recognize at least four of these from my own purse! And at this very moment I have on a new lip plumper that I’m trying out–also in the interest of science, of course.
Is that the Shu Uemera on the far left that you and Ali received last year? BTW, you gotta try the L’Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss. I’m loving it!
KHaun, how do you remember that??? Yes, I think it is and I LOVE it! I also love the Shu Uemera lipsticks too. They’re super creamy and light. I’ll have to try the Infallible gloss. Thanks for the tip!
I wasn’t looking at the picture when I answered that. The lipstick on the far left is the Shu Uemera that is creamy and awesome. The 8th item is the Shu gloss that I love just as much.
