I was surprised when Gillian Vanderslice’s vintage bag yielded only a handful of items, but then she reminded me, “There’s only so much a high school girl needs.” Good point. But even with her beautiful clean face, it’s hard to remember she’s only a junior in high school. The Highland Park student has already begun a pretty successful modeling career, winning E!’s Scouted modeling contest, and being signed with Page Parkes modeling agency.

You’ll probably recognize Kendi Skeen from her style blog, Kendi Everyday, where she models affordable threads that she mixes (and remixes) together for stylish looks that are feminine, smart, and budget friendly. We’ve always loved Elements for its choice of designers, selection of fresh and interesting finds, and pinch of locally crafted jewels. We have another reason, too: shop girl Stephanie Moore. (But you can call her Stevie.) Typically clad in black (and fringe) this red haired beauty and self-professed “crazy hippie” is a clothing and jewelry connoisseur with a dash of mystery. We were stoked to take a look in her bag. It was just as interesting as we’d hoped.

We’re long overdo for a purse spill with Most Eligible Dallas star Courtney Kerr. Roll your eyes about the show if you must, but sit down with the hairspray queen, and you’d like her immediately, regardless of your preconceived notions. She’s quick, funny, and totally down-to-earth honest. Since the show ended, local buzz has included talks of casting for MED Season 2 and whispers of a solo show for Courtney, so I asked. A coy response suggests a new project is in the works, but the specifics… TBA. In the meantime, take a look into this accessory-stuffed clutch.

Although Wallis Giunta, mezzo-soprano opera singer, is actually Canadian, we’re claiming her as our own while she lives, breathes, (bicycles), and works in Fort Worth playing Cherubino in the the Fort Worth Opera’s The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. (Playing through June 1.)

Remember when StyleSheet paid a visit to Blinc to spend some quality time with stylist Ali Burks, Blinc’s general manager and buyer? It was then, among the translucent, sorbet-hued hangers and her studded booties, that I knew we had to have her in to spill her purse.
