Beretta Gallery Trunk Show This Weekend

Sartel Revealed & LFT Final Sale Continues

Designer and boutique owner, Matthew Earnest will debut his 1930’s-inspired spring 2009 women’s line, Sartel at a trunk show tomorrow from 4PM- 7PM at V.O.D. Milliner MacGregor at V.O.D. Tonight

Hats are a must-have accessory this season. If you’re anything like me (I have a rather small head), finding the proper fitting topper can be quite an ordeal. However, there is an answer. Local and talented milliner Cassie MacGregor (whom we profiled in our September issue) will be at V.O.D. tonight from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M. showing her fall line (both men’s and women’s) and to do custom hat fittings. It’s “First Thursday” at Victory Park, so all shops will be open late and drinks will be served. Get out there and grab a cocktail and a fedora!

Two Days of Trunk Shows at Occhiali Modern Optics

In celebration of Partners Card week, which Sarah already told you about, Occhiali Modern Optics is holding four trunk shows of fabulous designer eyewear. Today until 5 p.m.—you still have a few hours!—check out the complete collections from David Yurman and Alain Mikli. Then tomorrow from 11 am to 5 pm, it’s Tom Ford and Cavalli. A highlight for Saturday’s show: the Tom Ford 007 sunglasses worn by Daniel Craig in the new James Bond flick Quantum of Solace. I’ve never seen a James Bond movie in my life, and I have no idea what “quantum of solace” means, but Daniel Craig? I know about him. Uh huh, I sure do.

Peter Som Trunk Show

Stanley Korshak will be having a Peter Som trunk show tomorrow and Thursday. Style.com calls his line “fresh and appealingly ladylike” and I have to agree. The blue he uses in the spring 2009 collection is just beautiful and the muted beige tones are light and breezy. I’m always interested in lines that have clothes that will work on curvy bodies and this collection looks like it has a lot to choose from. Valentino Event!!

I’m SO bummed I can’t go to this!! I LOVE Valentino. Ah, well I guess I’ll have to live without it. But you can go! Here are the details: Elle Market Director Joann Pailey will be at The Shak this Friday, September 19 from 6-8pm for a cocktail reception and fashion presentation of Valentino RED’s fall 2008 collection as well as his resort 2009 collection. Vintage Couture Trunk Show

On Thursday and Friday, September 25th and 26th the Goss-Michael Foundation will be hosting a vintage couture trunk show put on by PinkMemo.com and Manhattan’s RARE Vintage. They’ll be bringing some of their favorite vintage pieces by Dior, YSL and Chanel, amongst others. You must schedule an appointment to attend the trunk show. Email rarevintage@pinkmemo.com to do so. Cowgirl Up At The Gypsy Wagon

Get your cowgirl on at the Heritage Boot Trunk Show set for Saturday, September 13, from 10 am to 6 pm at The Gypsy Wagon. If you haven’t yet paid a visit to this funky and charming tattoo parlor-turned-boutique, this is a fine opportunity to do so.
