Jennifer Chininis | had no idea she wanted to be a magazine editor until she took an internship with Texas Monthly at the tender age of 19. After that, she was hooked. Although she doesn’t feel old enough to have had a job this long, she has worked for the D family of publications for nine years—first as managing editor for D Magazine, then as executive editor for D Special Interest Publications (D Weddings and D Beauty), and now as editorial director for dmagazine.com. When she isn’t madly redecorating her first home, she’s watching HGTV to get more ideas for madly redecorating her home.
Sarah Eveans | is the events editor for dmagazine.com and a contributing editor for D Magazine. She grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and graduated from SMU. She is also a graduate of the California Culinary Academy, but somehow she still doesn’t cook very well. She has worked at The Food Network, Saveur, PaperCity, and In Touch, where she once had to fly to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to spy on Jessica Simpson (she wasn’t there). She loves lip gloss and yoga, and if she made more money, she would shop exclusively at Barneys.
Kristin Hull | is a contributing editor for the D family of publications and has styled many pages for D Weddings and D Beauty. After graduating with a degree in film and television from Wayne State University, the Detroit native relocated to Los Angeles. There she worked for MTV and HBO before leaving for a job with Barney & Friends in Texas. Her transition paid off: she met and married her hairdresser husband and changed careers. With a great-grandmother who lived to 105 and a 90-year-old grandmother who is still going strong, Kristin is dedicated to finding the best ways to stay healthy and fit for the long haul.
By day, Laura Kostelny is the executive editor of D Home, D Weddings, and D Beauty. By night, she is obsessed with reality television. If you are a lady who has any idea who CT, Melissa Rycoft, and Gretchen Rossi are, there’s a very good chance you will like her blogs a whole bunch. If you are a man and know this trio, please call her immediately. You=soulmate.
Peggy Levinson | has lived and worked in the Dallas design world for the last 30 years. After leaving the show room business, and a very brief unremarkable career in real estate, she’s found a wonderful home at D Home, where she is the design and style editor. She loves good design, working with quirky designers, and showing off a few decades of experience with her workers. She is known for having a more than a few definite opinions.
Stephanie Quadri | is the style director of D Magazine and D Weddings. She was born and raised in Dallas, headed west for college at the University of Arizona, went to live in Lugano, Switzerland, for a few months to explore her roots and European style, and then returned to Dallas to find her calling at D. Along with covering fashion and beauty news, she also styles photo shoots for D publications. Stephanie has in her cubicle, among the mess of many beauty products and piles of press releases, an autographed photo of Michael Kors.
Raya Ramsey | is the online producer for dmagazine.com, which means she spends a lot of time on the Internet. And although the computer monitor spends the most time staring back at her face during the day, she can’t help but spend too much time on her makeup every morning. She’s hopelessly addicted to cosmetics and everything beauty related. And she loves to talk about it.
Rhonda Reinhart | is managing editor of D Weddings, D Home, and D Beauty. She never leaves the house without earrings and mascara, and she can’t decide if she wants her hair to be straight or curly. Most of the time, it’s somewhere in between.
