Men don’t get all the made-to-measure goods. The luxury of custom shirting is now available for the fairer sex. Jen and Ravi Ratan, whose family owns Q Custom Clothier, launched Double R, a bespoke women’s brand, in the fall. Just this week, they launched the website, which offers 150 styles of women’s classic button-ups, looser, boyfriend-cut styles, tunics, and shirt dresses. Each is created based on four personal measurements, which can be taken at home. Dream up a color and they’ve got it—in a casual fit with sleeve tabs, in a striped variation with ruffles or pleats, in a sleeveless tunic, in a perfectly tailored shirtdress, or in plaid, gingham, and houndstooth. For a full, bespoke experience, shoppers can make an appointment at Double R’s Travis Walk showroom and pick out every detail. Each garment comes with a personalized monogram and a snap between buttons at the bust to keep shirts from gapping. Brilliant.
