Is Barneys Going Out of Business?

The Feast thinks so, and we wouldn’t be surprised. Shopping in that store is painful. (Not because of the price tags, but the ghost town vibe.) How long will the forsaken fashion shop last?

Update: Barneys’ receptionist says these rumors are “not true.” But I’m waiting for a call back from the store’s manager.

Update: I’m waiting for a statement of sorts from the company’s communications and marketing team.

I love shopping in Barney’s. I actually go in there weekly to shop. I have a great relationship with a plethora of the staff. I will be sadden if they close

Great selection, but lousy sales and discounting.

“Printapons” is a deal-of-the-day website that is localized if a certain number of people sign up for the offer, then the deal becomes available to all; if the predetermined minimum is not met, no one gets the deal that day.

Barneys New York is a great addition to the retail scene in Dallas. I am a frequent shopper & have been so impressed with their management & associates. It would break my heart if they shuttered the Dallas store.

My son is a huge fan! He would be sooo sad to see it close but I can totally see why they would. The merchandising is often confusing and intimidating. Shopping should be fun not painful! Just think if the economy stays the way it is there are more people that can save up for one nice thing every once and a while than the one person that can buy it all. You never really know who it is that can make your quota!! What ever happened to True Customer Service?
