I’ve had a few questions about the “dress code” for the Fashion’s Night Out events taking place around Dallas. Rather than giving you dear readers my opinion, I thought I’d give you the answers straight for the fashionable mouths of event-throwers.
From Kristen, the lovely PR lady of NorthPark:
“While the dress code varies depending on the retailers’ events, it’s certainly an opportunity to showcase a personal sense of style in celebration of the biggest night out for fashion. We’ll likely see a variety of apparel this evening – from casual chic to designer dressy!”
From Dianne, manager at Forty Five Ten:
“We are say something “Fashionable,” which is running the gamet from jeans to cute skirts and dresses. We want people to be comfortable so they can shop if they want to.”
From Hillary, the voice of all things Highland Park Village:
“There’s no official dress code…just fashionably chic!”
A perfection combination, wouldn’t you agree? Watch the video to see exactly what we’re giving away.
As if there isn’t enough going on today to delight your shopping senses, here’s another one:
Amanda Sterett, Reader’s Choice winner for best jewelry designer, is having a trunk show, featuring her new fall collection at Melanie Gayle today. Stop in, have a look-see and do a little spending. You’ll be rewarded. For $100 in purchasing, you’ll get a $15 gift card. For $300, get $30. For $500, get $75. That goes for all Melanie Gayle merchandise, as well as Amanda Sterett designs.
Case in point: this sale and, now, their 24-hour sale. Starting now, and running through tomorrow morning at 9 am, take 10 percent off anything on the Nest website using the code “Nest2410″ in the checkout.
This is by no means the ultimate guide to Fashion’s Night Out here in Dallas. It is, however, a quick round-up of fun things that I know are happening tonight. Jump for a mini calendar. We’ll see you out!
