Thursday, Feb. 5, from 5 to 7pm, the Ritz-Carlton Spa is holding “The Ultimate Beauty Happy Hour.” What makes a beauty happy hour “ultimate,” you ask? Well, (all in one breath), you’ve got your regular cocktails and hor d’oeuvres, plus the Ritz’s own Guacamologist, plus your hair and scalp consultations and a personalized hair prescription courtesy J.F. Lazartigue; then there’s the lip plumping demo, and your one-minute manis and Dean’s Margarita Salt Glow samples, not to mention the first 40 to RSVP (here: 214-922-4820) will receive a Winter Survival Gift Bag and everyone will receive 20 percent off on retail merchandise … gasp. Sounds pretty “ultimate” to me. Bring your friends.

    Just a word to the wise, I called there just now and they are a little not sure what is going on…

    They took my name and phone number and said they will call me back??
