New York Fashion week kicked off today, with designers such as Julie Haus, Jenni Kayne, Nicole Miller, and Erin Featherston showing editors, buyers, and fashion insiders what they have in store for Spring 2009. I am on my way to the Big Apple tomorrow morning to cover as many shows as I can, including designers such as Carolina Herrera, Lela Rose, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and more. Get a glimpse of the runway, scene, and happenings at Fashion Week Daily and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week’s web sites. I will be hitting the pavement of NYC in my heels (I don’t wear flats, even in New York) and on my way to the tents around 5 PM tomorrow. Check back to get the scoop on the trends and the excitement of New York Fashion Week. I will give a recap at the end (or beginning) of everyday.
Wow, so far I’ve only tried two things from the IsaDora cosmetics line but I love them both so much that I can only imagine the rest of their products are just as fabulous. Their Boost Up mascara ranks right up there with my other favorites and I only received their lip gloss cocktail ring a few minutes ago and I’m already wearing it. I know, it sounds very middle school to have a ring that opens with lip gloss inside but this one is REALLY cute and oh-so-handy. Products can be purchased at amazon.com or cosmeticmall.com.
Next up: an entire gift set of five new products from St. Ives: warming scrub (to relax pores for a deep clean), microdermabrasion with chamomile (to smooth away fine lines), olive cleanser and olive scrub (gentle cleanser and exfoliator made with olive oil), and protective cleanser (with vitamin E and SPF 10). I’ll except entries all day today. So e-mail me now! (Just click on my name.)
