The Mascara Monologues (continued)

I’m glad to see Stephanie is on board the mascara train! I too have tried out another one and really like it - Lash Injection Poinpoint by Too Faced. It gave me just what I’m seeking long, separated, lush lashes. It’s a Sephora exclusive so you can only buy it at one of their stores or on their web site. Who knew there were so many good mascaras out there! Let us know if you have any favorites!

I’m kinda hooked right now on Lancome’s Cils Booster XL (the mascara base) and the Definicils (the mascara). I know it’s a two-step process, but it’s kinda worth it.

Diorshow - although it can get clumpy if you use too much. I tried that stuff called Fiberwig (Japanese company, name escapes me) which was pretty rad with its “tube” technology. It also made washing my face at night kind of weird when all the little tubes would wash off into my hands. But it just didn’t have the thickening effect I wanted, so I went back to Diorshow. A good drugstore pick is Cover Girl’s Volume Exact which is my everyday/work go-to.

I saw a commercial for a L’oreal mineral mascara. Has anyone tried that? I’m kinda interested to see if it’s any better than the “normal” stuff. http://www.lorealparisusa.com/.....-Black.htm

I second the CG Volume Exact. I use it everyday and even after a couple of months it still never clumps.
